Who is coliving for?

At MDM, we welcome individuals who are looking for more than just a place to stay. Our community is tailored to those in the tech industry who strive to be exceptional roommates and engaged members of our community. We hold ourselves to high standards when selecting residents because we understand that a great living experience starts with outstanding roommates. We value qualities such as a passion for connecting with others, a diverse background with valuable skills, and a mindset that embraces sharing and collaboration.

How many people can live in the building?

We have total 16 rooms.  Up to 25 people can live in the coliving across two floors. Commonly we have about 12 to 16 people live onsite at one-time. 

Can I tour the property first?

Absolutely! We encourage all potential residents to schedule a tour of our tech-centric home, virtually or physically.

Do I need to sign a contract/lease?
Yes, we require all residents to sign a contract/lease to ensure consistency and fairness for everyone.
Is coliving safe?
Safety is our top priority. We meticulously screen both staff and residents and maintain external CCTV cameras for added security.
Why should I stay at Mission Dolores Manor over Airbnb or a hotel room?

Mission Dolores Manor offers more than just a place to stay. With reliable workspaces, fast WiFi, and a vibrant community, we provide everything you need for a productive and comfortable stay.

My booking has been accepted, now what?

Once your booking is confirmed, our host will welcome you to your new home, help you settle in, and introduce you to the community.

Will I get the same room as the photos?

While we aim to provide the room as pictured, we may occasionally make adjustments to accommodate our guests.

What is the minimum length of stay?

We provide flexible leasing options, including month-to-month leases with a minimum commitment of one month. Additionally, we occasionally offer shorter stays with a minimum duration of 7 days.

What does it cost to move in?

You pay the first month’s rent plus $2K security deposit before you move in.

Is there a quiet hour?

A lot of our residents work late into nights during the week, we appreciate residents to be respectful of quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM during the week. On the weekend, if you are throwing a party outdoor, we do ask you to bring in the party by 10 pm out of the respect of our neighbors.

What is included in the price?

Your all-in-one monthly payment covers rent, utility bills, household supplies, wi-fi, cleaning, linen changes, access to communal spaces, and our 24/7 on-call team to help make your experience as amazing as possible.

What kind of common spaces do you have?

Apart from our vibrant community, what truly distinguishes our coliving space is the expansive and splendid common areas it offers. From a fully stocked kitchen to a dining room, parlor, sunroom, and living room, we provide ample spaces for relaxation and socializing. Moreover, we have a hidden gem – a speakeasy space. Since it’s not advertised and there are no pictures posted, you’ll discover its charm when you arrive!

What if I don't know exactly how long I want to stay?

You may book a shorter stay first and then extend once you know more about your needs.

Is parking available on-site?

There is no on-site parking, but there is ample street parking available on the block or nearby. However, please be mindful of street signs as you may need to move your car every 2 hours. If necessary, you can consider parking a block down or utilizing a public parking garage. 

Are the bathrooms shared?

Room four is the only accommodation featuring a private bathroom. All other bathrooms are shared among residents and undergo biweekly cleaning to ensure cleanliness is maintained.

Will my room be cleaned?

We usually do not clean rooms during your stay although we do have a professional cleaning company that cleans all common areas. 

What kind of utilities are covered?

All utilities are covered and include free laundry.

What's your cancellation policy?

For cancellations, a fee will be charged equal to the lesser amount between the security deposit and any upfront payments.

What kind of events do you offer?

Events are offered once a week and can range from game night, cooking classes, movie nights, or morning hikes. There are many different events we like to do. If you’re interested in leading an event, let us know!

Do I need to pick up keys?

No, We have keypad access codes for the doors.

Are pets allowed?

Sorry, no furry friends are allowed at this time.
